Pharma capital projects

We place qualified specialist suppliers into GMP facility programmes — before procurement opens.

The supplier shortlist for a new drug substance or fill-finish facility is settled twelve to twenty-four months before tender. We work inside that window, on both sides of it.

The window

The decision is made long before the market is allowed to compete.

12–24months

Ahead of tender

Vendor qualification for a GMP programme is set during design and early engineering. By the time a package goes out, the people running the build already know who they want.

12–18months

To become qualified

A supplier who first appears at tender stage was never eligible. The advert is close to a formality — the room where the shortlist was built has already closed.

How good firms lose

Specialist contractors find work after procurement opens, against everyone, on price. Visibility twelve months out is the difference between growing and bidding.

How we work

We don't send bids. We place partners.

Placement means qualification, and qualification is a proper process — one that starts with the programme, not the supplier.

Programme intelligence

We follow pharma, CDMO and biologics capital programmes from announcement through design, and speak peer-to-peer with the engineering and site leaders mapping their supplier requirements.

Capability mapping

Under NDA, we map a supplier's real scope against what programmes are actually specifying, and say plainly where it fits and where it doesn't.

Placement

We position qualified partners against live demand at formation, when the question programme owners are asking is who can actually deliver this? Suppliers get pipeline they can plan against. Programmes get delivery certainty.

A company that can't see work coming can't hire ahead of it. We give suppliers the one thing a bid never does — time.

Who we work with

Two sides of the same programme.

The partners

A firm built around forty years inside the plant.

Sector experience from the top of GMP manufacturing — the calibre of operator a programme builds around — with a commercial engine that puts it in front of the right people.

Greg spent eighteen years inside Amgen's manufacturing network, moving between engineering, quality and site leadership as the company built out commercial biologics capacity. He led process equipment design for Nplate and Prolia from concept through commissioning, ran Quality Assurance for the new fill-finish facility in Juncos, Puerto Rico from commissioning to licensure, and closed his Amgen career as Engineering Director for the global fill/finish and lyophilisation network.

He later served as General Manager and Site Head at Rezolute, and has advised biopharma manufacturers on facility readiness, aseptic operations and regulatory inspection since 2015. He is a chemical engineer by training (Georgia Tech) with a Master of Management from Kellogg.

How engagements are structured

Retained, qualification-led, and aligned to the award.

Retained

An engagement fee and a monthly retainer. We take on a small number of suppliers per category so that placement stays credible with the programmes we speak to.

Qualification-led

Capability mapping comes first, under NDA. If a scope doesn't fit what programmes are specifying, we say so before either side spends money.

Minimum term

Six months. Vendor qualification runs on the programme's clock, not ours, and anything shorter sets a supplier up to quit before it works.

Success-aligned

A share of awarded work. Our return depends on placements that turn into contracts, which keeps us honest about who we put forward.

Make contact

If you're mapping supplier requirements for a programme, or you're a specialist supplier taking on new programme work — talk to us.

Discreet conversations. We'd rather place a partner where it's needed than push one at you.
